- Uncontrolled peeing with an activity such as jumping, coughing, sneezing
- An urgent need to use the washroom
- Having to use the washroom more than 5-8 times per day
- Waking up throughout the night to pee
- Unwanted loss of feces/stool
- A feeling of heaviness down there
- Pain during Intercourse/Sexual Activity
- Bowel movements that are difficult to pass
- Bowel movements that occur less than three times per week
- Painful pelvic/speculum exams
- Frequent urinary track infections
- Hip, low back, sacroiliac and/or pelvic girdle pain
- Pelvic Pain
- Tail Bone Pain – can be injured through the birth process or from a trauma such as a fall
- Itching/Burning in the pelvic region
- Scrotal/Penile Pain
- Pain after a surgery such as Caesarean or prostatectomy
- Pain with Sitting
- Pregnancy:
1) prevent and treat incontinence
2) prevent and treat pelvic pain
3) enhance labour and delivery
4) minimize trauma to the pelvic floor
