Experience Freedom from Urinary Leakage with the Emsella Chair.
I’m an occupational therapist with a passion for helping women feel strong, supported, and more at home in their bodies—especially through the many shifts that happen during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. I focus on pelvic health and sleep because I’ve seen just how much these areas can impact our daily lives, and I’ve lived it myself too.
My own journey into pelvic health began when I developed tailbone pain. It started interfering with the things I loved— biking, working out, and even simple things, sitting through a meeting at work, driving or relaxing on the couch. As the pain grew, I unknowingly held more tension in my core and pelvic floor, which created a cycle of stress, tightness, and eventually other pelvic floor dysfunctions. It was frustrating, overwhelming, and isolating.
Incorporating yoga, physical strengthening, and functional movement into my routine played a big role in helping me manage my tailbone pain. These practices became more than just physical—they helped me reconnect with my body, release tension, and navigate stress with more ease. When I became pregnant, the tailbone pain worsened and I found myself fearing how it might impact labour and delivery—something I needed to acknowledge and actively work through. I continue to use the same strategies in my own postpartum rehab, and over time, I’ve noticed real shifts in how I feel, both physically and emotionally. That experience continues to shape how I support others in their own recovery today.
As a trained yoga teacher, I love incorporating therapeutic movement and mindfulness into my work. I use yoga and other forms of movement to help clients improve body awareness, calm the nervous system, and support both physical and emotional recovery.
I’ve been an OT for 10 years, working in both public and private health care with people of all ages—from children to older adults—in clinics, hospitals, and community settings. I also have advanced training in sleep and insomnia, which allows me to support clients in improving their overall wellness.
My approach is rooted in compassion and collaboration. I don’t just treat symptoms—I listen to what matters most to you, and together we create a plan that helps you get back to the activities and routines that make you feel like yourself again.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me outdoors—hiking, biking, gardening, or working out, teaching and practicing yoga and spending time with my little one.
If you're feeling frustrated, stuck, or unsure of what’s going on in your body—I get it. I’ve been there and I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey to healing.
