Katrina is an experienced Pelvic Health Physiotherapist who has completed her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. Prior to this, she graduated with honours from Brock University with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences.
Katrina loves to be active and while at Brock University she provided athletic therapy to the varsity cross country and track teams. More recently, Katrina became a trained STOTT PILATES® mat and reformer instructor. She has a special interest in bone health and completed the OsteoCircuit program to better serve her clients living with osteoporosis.
In recent years, Katrina has focused on Pelvic Health Physiotherapy, finding it a rewarding practice area where she can make a significant and positive impact on the lives of her patients. With a focus on women's health, she is compassionate and understanding of the challenges her patients are experiencing. Katrina's passion not only provides her clients with the tools to help them achieve their personal goals, but also helps to increase their quality of life. Combining therapeutic exercise, personalized education and manual therapy, her holistic approach to care supports patients from all walks of life.
Katrina is committed to providing evidence-based treatment and strives to stay up to date in both pelvic health and orthopaedic best practices. She has completed all three levels of Pelvic Health Physiotherapy training, as well as additional courses to better understand her patients' needs. Katrina continues to expand her knowledge and training to ensure she remains a leader in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy.
